TaskyKids

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 3, 2026

TaskyKids ("the app", "we") helps families turn chores into missions and teaches kids about earning money. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. TaskyKids is published by TaskyKids. For any question, contact us at support@taskykids.app.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or payment card details. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell or share your information for marketing.

Some preferences (language, appearance, the kids who joined on a device) are saved only on the device itself.

Money in the app

TaskyKids does not move real money. Amounts are a record of what a parent owes a kid. Parents pay their kids themselves, in cash or otherwise.

How your information is stored and protected

Information is stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), our only service provider, on servers located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted by security rules: a family's information can only be read by its parent and by the devices that joined with that family's code.

Google acts as our data processor under its Firebase Data Processing Terms. Learn more about Firebase and privacy.

International transfers

If you use TaskyKids outside the United States (for example in Morocco or in the European Union), your information is transferred to and stored in the United States. Google protects these transfers with safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. By using the app, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.

Children

TaskyKids is designed to be set up and managed by a parent. Kids' profiles are created by the parent and contain only a first name or nickname, an age and an avatar, with no contact information. Kids cannot create accounts, see ads or contact other people through the app. Parents can view, edit or delete their kids' information at any time.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete a kid or your account, the related information is deleted from our database right away. Copies may remain in Google's backups for a short period before being permanently erased.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or Moroccan law 09-08), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to support@taskykids.app. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact your local data protection authority (in Morocco, the CNDP).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
